The annual 4th & 5th Grade Musical is a beloved tradition at Washington Elementary School, offering students their first transformative experience in musical theater. Fully funded by the Boundary Waters Choral Arts and community support, this program invites every 4th and 5th grader to participate in a fully staged, hour-long production each May.

Our mission is to foster creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for the arts. Through rehearsals and performance, students learn the power of ensemble work, discovering that when their voices unite, they create something far greater than the sum of its parts. From the initial auditions to the final curtain call, students are immersed in a professional-grade theatrical environment that celebrates their growth and dedication.
